About the position:

The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting services. General journal entries, adjusting journal entries, account payable, accounts receivable and financial statement preparation will be required for this position. Additional skills with payroll processing, payroll taxes, and sales tax are a plus. This person will be responsible for managing client bookkeeping/account engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Performing bookkeeping/accounting services for clients
• Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual payroll tax returns, W-2’s, 1099’s
• Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual sales tax returns
• Demonstrate ability to work independently on engagements or assist professional staff
• Maintains positive client relationships.
• Responds timely and accurately to internal team and client requests
• Perform thorough self-review of all work prior to submission to supervisor

Qualifications:

• Prior bookkeeping experience in public accounting, corporate or private business
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
• Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Great Plains experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail

Salary and Benefits:
