Accounting Clerk
HOURS: Full Time: 37- 40 hours per week.
Workdays: Monday through Friday, some weekends & holidays.
Shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
FUNCTION: This position reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Managers, and Controller. Primary duties include daily cash deposit counting (2-3 hours/day) and general office support. Actual work assigned will vary based on the skill set of the selected individual, but may include any of the following:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Count and verify daily deposits made by cashiers in various departments. Prepare a master deposit to be sent to the bank and, if needed, a change order. Assisting the Lodge Accounts Payable Specialist by regularly pairing and scanning weekly invoices into our Accounting Core software (up to 300 invoices per week). Assist the Accounts Receivable Specialist by preparing and sending invoices and collection letters. Making collection calls on past-due invoices. Maintaining records of open and paid items.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum of one year of experience in office-related positions.
Minimum of one year of cash handling/deposit preparation experience.
Minimum typing proficiency of 30 words per minute.
Demonstrated intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Outlook.
Physical ability to move storage boxes as heavy as 50 lbs. (Bending, reaching, stretching)
Physical ability to sit for the majority of the shift, and the physical ability to use a computer extensively, including extended periods of typing and data entry.

Male: Black dress slacks, white long or short sleeve dress shirt, vest and tie, black leather tie work shoes with rubber soles, name tag.
