As the Accountant, you are an integral part of the finance team, responsible for accounting and reporting functions. You support the Controller and team in preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, GST/PST tax returns, and account reconciliations. You also liaise with external accountants, prepare year-end documentation, and assist with internal and external audits. You know, accounting things. This full cycle accounting role will support our West Coast Hockey Group, the Victoria Royals Hockey Club.

This role is perfect for your curious mindset and "interest" in applying your accounting prowess to the challenges of running a WHL hockey team. This position will be based at our offices in Prospera Place, downtown Kelowna.

In a perfect world, you are a chartered professional accountant (CPA), or well on your way to being one, with at least a few years of hands-on experience in a full cycle accountant role. Advanced MS excel skills, exposure to Microsoft Dynamics, along with experience working with medium to large sized companies, will score you extra credit.
