Who You'll Work With

Reporting to the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for billing, collections and revenue reporting for month-end close. This role is suited to a candidate who is self-motivated, takes initiative, detail oriented and has excellent organizational and effective communication skills.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparation and distribution of invoices to customers
  • Cash application and resolving unapplied payments
  • Collection of unpaid customer invoices
  • Resolving payment discrepancies
  • Improve accounts receivable turnover
  • Accounts receivable aging review, reconciliation and calculation of provisions
  • Prepare revenue reports and analysis
  • Deferred revenue tracking and reconciliation
  • Assist in year-end audit, budgeting and forecasting
  • Commission calculations
  • Prepare balance sheet analysis for all A/R and revenue related accounts
  • Create new customers and maintenance of the customer database in Quickbooks
  • Support the regulatory compliance in internal control over financial reporting and sales taxes
  • Assist in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans
  • Assist is SAP Business One implementation
  • Responding to ad hoc requests from the business

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel with ability to manage complex data
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Account Receivable 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent collection management skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Ability to step out of the box, conceptualize and problem solve
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple competing priorities and be flexible and resilient
