Account Manager (Hybrid - Must live in DFW Metroplex)
THE BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
The major emphasis of this position is the daily management of assigned major retail and vendor sales accounts. This position is sales and customer service oriented. Multi-tasking capabilities are essential for inside and outside sales, and include client research and development, project definition, and all phases of large account management.
THE PRINCIPAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Coordinates the responsibilities of the Account Coordinator and Account Specialist.
- Corresponds with customer to inform of production progress and costs.
- Delivers samples to local customers when necessary.
- Distributes credit application and follows up with customer and Accounting department. Sets up the account in Acumatica.
- Establishes open lines of communication and builds solid relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Maintains standard filing system on all projects for customer
- Monitor all data accuracy in Acumatica computer system. (EDI, BOM, Item Master, RGA, OE, PT, Cross Ref, Ship to, etc)
- Monitors accounts daily through Open Orders Summary Report, Potential orders report, production window report, and project shipping schedule.
- Obtains detailed information regarding scope of project and enters Design Request for initial drawings. Subsequent Design Requests (DRS's) may be required as the project develops, and are most often requests for factory drawings, changes to original drawings, artwork, planograms, glossaries, and presentations boards.

Qualifications
College degree preferred.
Preferably in merchandising, retail and administration.
Must be highly organized and possess the ability to multitask to switch focus quickly and work on multiple projects at the same time.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint.
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment so you can act with a sense of urgency and adhere to set deadlines.
