Who You'll Work With

The Account Manager will work closely with the Director, Education Resources and the content team at IMD, as well as other stakeholders throughout the business (finance, technology, marketing) as needed.

 

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Director, Education Resources, this Account Manager role will lead the build, implementation, and ongoing management of our patient education platform deployments in hospitals across Canada. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmaceutical clients and several clinic managers, acting as the primary point of contact for our existing platform users as well as the key growth driver for new hospital implementations. This position is a 1-year contract term covering a leave and will be delivered remotely.

Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop an in-depth product knowledge of the Patient Education Platform to be able to generate creative ideas and solutions for clients as well as work within the platform to assist in program delivery
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with all external stakeholders (clients and clinics)
  • Conduct sales and training presentations to senior and frontline hospital staff
  • Work with an external pharmaceutical client team to facilitate demonstrations and buy-in from clinic teams
  • Work with a growing list of hospital-based oncology clinics to refine their patient education strategy on the IMD platform
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hospital-based clinic teams, helping them adopt and gain value from our platform
  • Report monthly results to IMD and pharmaceutical client leadership
  • Report quarterly usage metrics to oncology clinics across the program

 

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 2-4yrs experience in client / key account management.
  • Relevant healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or oncology experience
  • Methodical on follow-up, detail focused, and highly organized.
  • Familiar use of MS Office suite of products.
  • Past experience working with technology products/platforms.

 

What You Need to Stand Out

  • Knowledge/Experience with the Canadian hospital and/or oncology landscape is an asset.

  • Relationship-building skills with the ability to develop partnerships with stakeholders and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary context
  • Demonstrated agility and the ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including preparing and delivery of presentations
  • Ability to clearly define and articulate requirements, priorities, impacts, and solutions
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills (able to review results / situations and determine follow-up plans.
  • Passion for creating top quality work in an innovative atmosphere
