Account Executive - BAS/Controls

United Mechanical is currently searching for a Sales Executive to manage and grow our controls and electrical division. The primary responsibility of the Sales Executive is to grow, develop, and manage owner, end-user, and developer relationships.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • At least 5+ years of HVAC Controls industry sales experience or directly related industry sales experience with extensive operational experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Technical and financial expertise to effectively and independently estimate and sell technical solutions and service product lines

Typical Responsibilities

  • Selling the United Mechanical offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently 
  • Focusing on improving the existing building to allow the building owner to achieve business objectives
  • Manages ongoing, opportunities, particularly focusing on selling services and retrofits. 
  • Builds relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process 
  • Seeks out, targets, and initiates contact with multiple prospective customers
  • Develops and maintains a network of contacts, understands and leverages the sales process
