Position Summary

The Seasonal Accommodations Groundskeeper maintains the safety, cleanliness, and appearance of all resort accommodation grounds, including the RV Park, Lodges, Villa, and Cabins. This role supports daily and seasonal grounds maintenance while following WorkSafeBC and resort safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform seasonal grounds maintenance, including spring cleanup, mowing, trimming, edging, and weed control

·         Maintain walkways, patios, RV sites, and landscaped areas

·         Remove debris, fallen branches, and natural hazards

·         Maintain drainage channels and mulch areas

·         Safely operate and maintain grounds equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools)

·         Identify and report hazards or equipment issues

·         Work collaboratively with resort staff to ensure safe, welcoming guest areas

Qualifications

·         Ability to operate a push mower and string trimmer (training provided)

·         Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

·         Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

·         Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

·         WHMIS certification an asset (provided if required)

Physical & Working Conditions

·         Physically demanding outdoor work including lifting, walking, bending, and repetitive motions

·         Exposure to noise, weather, uneven terrain, and equipment
