A068 Contracting Consultant

Cameo Consulting Group, LLC, a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking multiple qualified and available Contracting Consultants to support a potential Federal client in Fort Belvoir, VA. The position is full-time, long-term in nature, and available upon contract award.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Provides expertise in acquisition, contracting, price analysis and program management for federal procurements.
• Demonstrates expertise planning and executing contracts to support client or agency mission
• Ability to provide leadership and Expertise in performance-based acquisition management theories, contract formation, contract administration, implementation and oversight. Ability and experience providing training/teaching of acquisition management and procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACQUISITION ROLES:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management or a related discipline.
  • Education Equivalency: One year of directly relevant work experience may substitute for one year of post-secondary education. OR One year of post-secondary education may substitute for one and a half years of directly relevant work experience.
• Experience: 8 to 12 years of acquisition or program management for Defense acquisition programs
• Skills: (Desirable) Professional Certification (PMP, CPCM or DAWIA Level III in Contracting).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Power Point

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

• The Period of Performance shall be for one (1) 12-month base, including one (1) 1-month transition concurrent with the base-year, and four (4) 12-month option periods.

• INSCOM’s core performance hours are 9:00 am to 3:00pm
