CONRAD’S Eat Drink Local, a well established Northland restaurant looking to add an A.G.M. to its team. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for managing daily operations, meeting or exceeding budgeted labor and other cost centers, as well as overseeing the inventory and ordering of products and supplies. In addition, the A.G.M. ensures excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, commitment to a "Do Whatever It Takes" attitude, and a hands-on, leading by example management style. Must have a passion for food and the ability to provide an over-the-top guest experience. Experience as an Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager is necessary for this position.

 

Summary of Position:

Responsible for supporting the culture and brand of CONRAD’S, by assuring that all procedures are rigorously followed and a culture of accountability is in place throughout their shift in the restaurant. Will assist in developing an engaged and highly competent team who delight our guests. 


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide fast, friendly service to guests
  • Assist with managing team member performance
  • Coach our standards for FOH & BOH, and assist team members with the execution and polishing of these skills.
  • Schedule team members in a way that assures that shifts are staffed with adequate, qualified staff.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel, and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Provide coaching and correction to team members not meeting our behavior or performance expectations


Requirements:

  • Supervisory, leadership, and team development experience
  • Ability to uphold standards and processes
  • Has a strong, positive orientation towards people
  • Excellent communication and PC skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Able to work irregular hours in order to connect with guests and team
  • Outgoing and approachable, with a desire to meet new people
  • Previous experience as a Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager a must
  • Thorough knowledge of different hospitality positions is a plus
  • Self-reliant and independent to productively complete tasks
  • Organized and detail oriented – pays attention to the small stuff
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Bi-Lingual is a positive (Spanish)


Physical/ Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, push, pull, carry, stoop, and lift up to 25lbs

Total compensation is between $50-65K a year. We offer PTO, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.
