Restaurant Server (Must be 18+)

Odessa, TX Full-time $7.50/hour

SUMMARY 

The Server is responsible for ensuring that guests are satisfied by providing a world class server experience.

 Servers must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as they often interact with guests to enhance their dining experience. They need to be knowledgeable about the menu, wine list, and other aspects of the establishment.

 The Server will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES - 

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Eofficial Enterprises’ standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
  • Always comply with all standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Comply with certification requirements as applicable for position to include Food Handlers and TABC.
  • Maintain all Marriott S.O.P.'s concerning credit policies.
  • Complete all required correspondence in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server or in a similar role

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of wine & beverage pairings

  • Basic math skills

  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems, as necessary.
  • Must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
