Job Summary:

Paramont Mfg LLC is hiring a full-time 3rd Shift Maintenance Laborer. This is a safety-sensitive position where you will play an essential role in keeping our paint line area clean, safe, and fully operational. The position involves custodial and upkeep duties during the overnight shift to maintain optimal production conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning: Perform routine and deep cleaning of paint line equipment, surfaces, and surrounding areas (removing paint spills, dust, debris, etc.).
• Waste Management: Safely handle and dispose of paint residues and other waste materials following company and environmental guidelines.
• Supplies Management: Monitor and restock custodial supplies such as cleaning agents, rags, and protective gear.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures during cleaning tasks to avoid risks and disruptions.
• Equipment Care: Clean and maintain custodial equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor scrubbers, pressure washers).
• Reporting: Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or other issues to supervisors promptly.
• Documentation: Keep records of cleaning tasks and supplies used.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Custodial or janitorial experience in manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
• Skills: Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong commitment to cleanliness and efficiency.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks.
• Communication: Able to work independently and with a team.
• Safety: Awareness of custodial safety practices and handling of hazardous materials.
• Language: Must be bilingual—fluent in Spanish and English.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00/hour

Comprehensive Benefits Package

401(k): 3% employer contribution regardless of employee participation

Life Insurance: $25,000 employer-provided policy

Bonuses: Biannual discretionary bonuses

Paid Time Off (PTO): plus 8 paid company holidays

Schedule:

3rd Shift: 9:00 pm - 6:00 am

Monday to Friday; occasional overtime based on company demand
