Saw Operator

Who We Are:

AVANTech, LLC solves some of the most challenging problems in the water industry - from being first responders to the Fukushima Nuclear Plant meltdown to implementing patented first of its kid technology. Our projects include industrial water recycling at government sites. AVANTech's goal is to improve the environment around us and support our clients with innovative sustainable water treatment solutions.

Job Duties:

Set up and calibrate the saw according to specifications.

Inspect and maintain the saw for optimal performance and safety.

Safely cut materials to required dimensions and specifications.

Monitor the cutting process for accuracy and quality.

Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.

Keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• Must be sufficient at reading a tape measure down to 1/16"
• Must be able to identify the difference between carbon steel and stainless 316 and 304
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read drawings
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for the majority of the work day

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education preferred.

All candidates must be able to pass drug test, pre-employment physical, and background investigation.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt, hourly.
