2026 College Student Summer Internship Program

St. James Parish Government is now accepting employment applications for the 2026 College Student Summer Internship Program.

The program will begin on Monday, June 15, 2026, and continue through Friday, August 7, 2026.  Each intern will be paid $10.00 per hour.

Office and field staff positions available. 

Eligibility requirements include:

• Completion of one or more semesters in an accredited four-year college or university or community college.
• Proof of enrollment/attendance in the upcoming semester (letter of acceptance or registration of classes).
• Supported by and living with one or more parents or guardian.
• Resident of St. James Parish.
