1st Shift Box Unloader - Paid By Case

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Unloader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently unloading goods from delivery trucks and ensuring that products are organized and stored appropriately within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, as well as the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively.

Duties

• Unload products from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment such as RF scanners, clamp trucks, and cranes.
• Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage product locations.
• Perform order picking tasks as needed, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve unloading processes and efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, particularly in unloading or order picking roles.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment, including cranes and clamp trucks, are highly desirable.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
