LPN - 1st and 2nd Shift

Introduction:

Prairie Homestead Senior Living is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed  Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living team for a long-term position. We are not just looking for a warm body to fill a spot - we're looking for someone who is passionate about being a nurse and who wants to show up and provide outstanding care for our amazing residents. Responsibilities:

• Assess residents' health needs 

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member

• Communicate with residents and families to provide education and support

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment

• Document residents' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records

• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills

Qualifications:

• Dependability - shows up as scheduled and ready to care

• Current state license as aLPN
