SUMMARY:   The Residential Area House Coordinator oversees multiple locations. The Area Coordinator works with residential staff to provide direct care to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The Residential Area Coordinator achieves ongoing, consistent development and implementation of programs through appropriate teaching strategies, data collection, documentation, and the execution of policy and in collaboration with the CPM core management team.

 

REQUIREMENTS:    

  • ·       Associate’s Degree in a related field or 1-3 years relevant work experience.
  • ·       Prior supervisory experience required.
  • ·       Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • ·       Medication Certification through DDS must be acquired within six months of hire date and maintained throughout employment as a Residential Area House Coordinator. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Effectively manage staff to benefit the individuals under care while adhering to DDS guidelines.

·       Ensure property and vehicles are maintained and operated in a safe and sanitary method consistent with DDS regulations.

·       Complete all documentation related to individual and programmatic needs.

·       Provide oversight and/or training on implementation of programmatic documentation.

·       Complete PRC and HRC packets 60 days in advance of due date.

·       Collect, review and distribute all reports (i.e. incident reports, Individual Plan Reviews, behavior data, etc.) within the allotted time.

·       Works with the Deputy Director of QA/Med Certification/Investigations to ensure that contract obligations, program mandates and state reports are addressed accurately and timely. Also ensuring that required certifications, trainings and state recommendations are obtained, attended and implemented as required.

·       Ensure a safe environment that meets local, state and DDS guidelines.

·       Review program rules and policies as necessary with staff.

·       Compliance with all CPM/DDS Personnel Policies and Procedures.

·       Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 


SCHEDULE:   Full time: Monday-Friday (12:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
