Full-Time Cleaning Team Member – Jamestown, RI

Position Overview:

This position has multiple positions open and is for full-time work.  We are hiring staff for both our Jamestown, RI team and our Newport/Middletown/Portsmouth, RI team.  Each team primarily works in their designated areas with occasional cleanings in surrounding areas.  We are seeking a dependable, motivated team members with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to join our all-natural cleaning company.

About Our Company:

Founded in 2013, Coastal Home Cleaning and Organizing provides eco-friendly house cleaning and organizational services throughout Aquidneck Island and Jamestown.  We are an all-women-run company offering residential cleaning, rental turnovers, move-in/move-out cleans, small office cleaning, and organization services such as decluttering, downsizing, and packing/unpacking.

Our teams serve a wide range of clients -- from busy families with young children to elegant historic homes and professional households.  We use only non-toxic cleaning products and make eco-conscious decisions to protect the health and well-being of both our employees and our clients.

Job Responsibilities:
-Perform maintenance and deep cleaning in residential homes, rentals, and small offices
-Clean bathrooms, kitchens, floors, baseboards, and other surfaces
-Dust, vacuum, mop, and tidy spaces as needed
-Maintain organized and stocked supplies (provided by the company)
-Occasionally assist with light organizational tasks
-Perform additional duties as assigned

Availability:

-Ideal candidates are available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
-Optional weekend hours may be available in July and August
-Flexible scheduling may be considered for the right candidate

Qualifications & Skills:
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
-Reliable, responsible, and punctual
-Works well independently and collaboratively
-Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
-Smartphone required (for schedule, timecard, and client notifications via app)
-Attention to detail and efficiency when completing independent tasks
-Comfortable working in homes that may be cluttered, dusty, or disorganized

Experience:

-Prior cleaning experience preferred but not required — we’re happy to train the right person.
-Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle required.
