Location: Brockton, MA - Inclusion Family Counseling Center
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week (daytime, some evenings required)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview

Inclusion Family Counseling Center is seeking a Billing & Front Desk Assistant. This role provides Front Desk and Billing Administrative support. The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting clinical billing operations, is professional, people-oriented and comfortable working in a multicultural, mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Administrative Duties

Greet clients, families, and community members warmly as they arrive.

Answer and direct phone calls; return messages promptly.

Screen requests for services and process intake information.

Enter baseline and intake data into the electronic health record accurately.

Check in clients for appointments and provide basic assistance.

Maintain a clean and welcoming waiting area and counseling spaces

Maintain clean and welcoming counseling rooms. 


Billing Administrative Duties

Support the billing department by processing invoices, maintain client records, handle customer billing inquiries and provide support for referrals.

Prepare and send invoices, update account information, follow up on payments using accounting/billing software.

Strong organizational, communication and attention to detail skills are essential for this role.

Support insurance authorizations, billing follow-up, and payment collections.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Work or Psychology related field (required)

Experience: At least 1 year of billing, administrative, front desk, and/or customer service experience preferred. Prior youth mentoring or human services experience is a plus.

Knowledge of CBHI programs and Electronic Health Records preferred.

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, and data entry required).

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, or Portuguese) strongly preferred.
