Position Overview

Calcium is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Product Manager.  In this role you will be responsible for the success of the Calcium product suite. You will work cross-functionally with the teams building, marketing, selling and supporting our products. Reporting to the Director, Product, you will be instrumental to the success of our team in bringing a new patient experience to the US healthcare system.

About Product Development at Calcium

What You Will Do:

  • Develop product strategy with product leadership and communicate it with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product using customer analytics and market research
  • Plan and execute the product roadmap with a prioritized backlog of new features and enhancements
  • Draft product key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • Ensure team focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Discern and generate business cases for product extensions and product enhancements
  • Monitor customer needs, competitors’ product offerings, customers’ buying preferences, and competitive advantage/disadvantage
  • Utilize data and customer insights to uncover opportunities to improve consumer experiences and support business objectives
  • Support team through product development from concept to launch, launch to stability and stability to sunset as applicable
  • Outline roadmaps for products across a complex market mix
  • Create personas and map customer journeys, buying processes and user stories
  • Become aware of the market, competitors, current and prospective clients, and ensure this intel makes its way back to the Product Backlog
  • Interact and manage stakeholders with varied opinions, always reflecting back on the user/customers and data to help us make decisions
  • Make feature trade-off decisions such as depth vs breadth and experiment vs just build it

A Bit About You:

  • Experience owning a Product. This is not an “agile project managerâ€
  • Experience interacting with customers, both consumers and business partners
  • Great presentation skills and ability to digest diverse stakeholder opinions
  • Desire to work in a small team, be hands-on, and work in a startup / high-growth environment
  • Ability to work with offshore teams
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving experience and skills needed to be successful.
  • Experience managing dependencies across teams and products
  • Familiarity with data visualization and documentation tools.
  • Healthcare experience in a provider or consulting environment preferred
  • Clinical experience - RN degree (or similar) – nice to have

Position does not require that you live in Illinois.  We are looking nationwide for candidates.

This is a full-time position with an excellent comp package including salary, incentives, paid-for benefits, flexibility, and potential for huge growth only. We are unable to sponsor visa candidates at this time.
