The role of our Room Attendants is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for guest rooms and public areas at the resort. 

Key qualities: strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and effectively multi-task.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public areas
  • Maintain linens, towels and guest supplies in guest rooms
  • Notifies management of any losses, damage to guest rooms and rooms made ready for occupancy
  • Collects guest items from the room after checkout and report to lost and found
  • Assists in room inspection of the cleaned guest room
  • Submit maintenance requests for repair work, safety hazards
  • Knowledge of cleaning systems and chemicals
  •  Follow company health & safety and security procedures
  •   Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address guests needs (internal & external)
  • Support the team to reach common goals
  • Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Communicate information to the appropriate hotel personnel on any concerns or issues
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Manager/Supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to prioritize.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail
  • Self-starter, with time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of WHIMS and chemical use
  • Flexible, efficient and punctual
  •  Good physical health, heavy lifting, moving equipment is required
  •  Able to work independently, or team environment
