As a dishwasher, you will clean dishes, food preparation equipment, tableware, and glassware appropriately and safely.  You will also be responsible for keeping the backroom areas clean and orderly, as well assisting as needed with food preparation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Clean cooking equipment and tableware properly
  • Assisted with food preparation duties
  • Keep serving stations stocked with dishes and place settings
  • Dispose of garbage and maintain a debris-free dumpster area
  • Keep the kitchen work area clean and well-organized
  • Keep floors mopped and cleaned
  • Maintain the security of the restaurant by keeping the back door closed and locked
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested by management


  • Ability to make fast and repetitive movements with hands and wrists
  • Perform physically demanding activities, including carrying, lifting, stooping, standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to read and understand instructions on how to use cleaning chemicals properly
  • Complete actions in a specific order
