This exciting position will support customer needs in mobile boutiques during Girl Scout Events, processing of all sales and incoming monies through the point of sale system. Provide support by helping with boutique sales, educating customers about the Girl Scout program and essential merchandise needed to be successful.
Essential Job Functions:
Support NYPENN membership by participating in mobile boutiques throughout the NYPENN jurisdiction.
Assist other service center boutiques when needed and directed by the Senior Manager of Retail and/or the Senior Director of Sales.
Process cash registers sales, refunds, in-house transfers, gift cards and other customer related functions, including all cash receipting.
Process phone and email orders promptly and professionally.
- Computer, network, cell phone, fax, telephone, voicemail, copier. Must hold a valid driver’s license and insurance and be able to travel the 26 county jurisdiction of the council.
- Must be willing to drive/travel in Council vans to mobile boutique locations and the camp trading posts.
Driving, climbing, balancing, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing.
Sedentary work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to set-up tables and move around and/or set-up displays.
Hours for this position are more frequent in the Fall and Spring, averaging around 26 hours per week. Winter and Summer hours are less frequent averaging 18 to 20 hours per week.
