Position Overview
The Hospice Administrator provides strategic and operational leadership for all Broad Reach Hospice programs and services. This role ensures that the agency delivers exceptional care while meeting all state, federal, and accreditation standards. The Administrator serves as a key liaison between staff, patients, families, physicians, and community partners—promoting excellence, compassion, and integrity in every aspect of hospice care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operations of Broad Reach Hospice to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards (CMS, DPH, etc.).
- Strengthen relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, and community partners - representing Broad Reach Hospice in community outreach, education, and leadership activities.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource allocation to maintain efficient and sustainable operations.
- Supervise an interdisciplinary team of hospice professionals, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and compassion throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical leadership to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN license is strongly preferred.
- Progressive leadership experience in hospice, home health, or other post-acute healthcare setting.
- In-depth knowledge of hospice regulations, operations, and best practices.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to compassionate, mission-driven care and community service.
