WHO WE ARE:
Over the last few years, Liquid has become nationally recognized as one of the top college town electronic music-focused venues anywhere in the country. Over the years, we’re proud to have presented many of the artists who now routinely headline festivals and arenas around the world (e.g., the Chainsmokers who we’ve hosted 3 times, including their first gig with us when they performed as an opening act for $500).
In addition, as the last independent/privately owned entertainment venue left in downtown Madison, Liquid & Ruby is committed to continuing to showcase emerging local/regional acts as well as hosting many dozens of corporate & UW student organization private events as well as non-profit fundraisers every year.

WHO YOU ARE:
You come to work with a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a talented team of people who share your high customer service standards. You enjoy a fast-paced, busy environment that is filled with concert-goers and live music. You can quickly and accurately pour a gin & tonic and are comfortable working in an environment with loud music and flashing lights. You love music and ensuring your customer are having both a good & safe time.
Part-Time roles available: 10-20 hours/week
NECESSARY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- No previous bartending experience required but a bonus
- Positive attitude
- Comfortable working in high volume environments
- Able to free pour (or willing to learn) and check ID’s
- Friday & Saturday Availability
BENEFITS & PERKS:
- $3/hour + tips
- $15/hour guarantee
- $25 - $30/hour average after tips
- $2/hour bonus for operator’s license
