SmartLinx Solutions, LLC, an industry leader in Labor-Management suite for the health care industry. SmartLinx Solutions, LLC is a fast-growing and dynamic company looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team.

The Sales Development Representative is a role designed to help build the pipeline for the Sales Department team across the United States. In this job, you will be trained to understand who the ideal SmartLinx prospect is, how to connect with them and qualify that they are in fact a fit. You will constantly develop and refine your ability to send effective cold emails, make effective cold calls, identify and qualify real opportunities in a B2B sales environment. Just as Sales Development Representatives work to build the future pipeline for the company, they are also our “farm system” for the future, Accounts Executives, Enterprise Account Executives, and Sales Leadership.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

Creating new Sales Qualified Opportunities (70%)

  • Research and build accounts/contact records within Salesforce.com including – key contacts and account information to reveal the needs and issues of the decision-makers and others who influence the buying process
  • Prospecting activities including phone calls, e-mail, social media to qualify organizations, contacts, leads by understanding customer needs, budgets, decision-making, and competitive landscape via a consultative sales methodology
  • Consistent use of defined sales approach and techniques based on product or service solutions

Pipeline & Activity Management (20%)

  • Constantly reviewing your roles KPI’s, as defined by sales leadership, to ensure you are exceeding activity, territory coverage, discovery call, Sales Qualified Opportunity and revenue metrics
  • Understanding your pipeline’s performance and what you can do to improve it
  • Maintaining an organized system of management through Salesloft and Salesforce
  • Keep all records of customer interaction up to date in Salesforce

Sales Feedback (10%)

  • Help to adequately prepare your colleagues in Sales for customer calls, via internal pre-calls and thorough note-taking in the CRM

Preferred and Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to build a career in Sales
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong time management
  • Curiosity and desire to learn, coachable
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and other tools is a plus
