Certified Nursing Assistant:
Post-Acute Medical and Rehabilitation services to patients
Long-Term Care/ Skilled Nursing, Skilled Rehabilitation Nursing Home
Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed-using wheelchair, bathroom, walking, standing, etc.
Able to provide care for each resident in accordance with their personal care plan.
Provides adjunct care by administering the necessary procedures towards total patient care.(ie. Non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, etc.)
Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; conducting specialized testing, and recording intake and output information.
Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients, answering patients’ call lights and requests, and reporting observations of the patient to the nursing supervisor.
Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine,etc.
Assist or escort patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
Assist with daily housekeeping duties-making bed, disposal of trash, tray removal, etc.
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses or nursing managers.
Work Hours & Benefits: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11am or 11pm-7:00am (Days are contingent upon needs of the business.) Subject to additional hours contingent on needs of the business. Health, Dental, Vision Benefits available and more.
Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications/Skills:
Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
Knowledge of relevant nursing care.
Friendly and professional bedside manner.
Maintains current CPR certification.
Multi-tasking skills.
Effective oral, written and reading communication skills.
Understands legal implications of patient care.
Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Certification as a CNA in the state of employment and MUST maintain in good standing throughout employment.
Current AHA, BLS and/CPR Certification.
Prior experience in healthcare is preferred.
6 months or more Full-Time experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
SALARY DETAILS:
- $17.00 PER HOUR!!!
- Guaranteed 48 hours Guaranteed overtime!
- $960 Gives you $23,040 in 6 months & $46,080 in a year.
