AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) for a twelve week period.  The PTA is responsible for administering physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician. Physical Therapist Assistant participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.  This is a temporary twelve week position which requires one weekend shift per month.

Job Requirements

·       Associates Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant school.

·       Maintains a current Louisiana State PTA License

·       Current BLS certification.

·       Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

·       Additional languages are desirable.

·       Basic computer knowledge.
