Human Resources Coordinator

This position involves serving as the go-to resource for employees and managers and supporting HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and benefits and payroll process. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from posting jobs to conducting interviews and ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Oversee daily HR activities, such as maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Support leaders in administering performance review processes and developing action plans for growth and improvement.
- Assist with labour relations, including contract interpretation, grievance management processes, and ensuring adherence to collective agreements.
- Collaborate with leaders to foster a positive work environment, ensuring employee concerns are addressed and resolved effectively.
- Ensure HR practices comply with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Other duties as required.
Must-Haves:
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years in an HR role, with exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Union experience is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CPHR designation or working toward it is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the province or to other provinces as needed.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model, combining both in-office and remote work.
