Weekend RN Nurse
Desoto Retirement and Rehabilitation is seeking a Weekend RN to work in our facility. Salary DOE and very competitive!
Key Skills & Environment:
- Clinical Skills: Bedside care, phlebotomy, respiratory support, basic diagnostics.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, attention to detail, compassion, initiative.
Core Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Track vitals, cognitive status, skin integrity, mobility, labs, and report changes to doctors.
- Care Planning: Create, implement, and update personalized care plans with an interdisciplinary team.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments, including IVs.
- Wound Care: Manage and monitor wound recovery.
- Supervision: Oversee LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed records of care, history, and observations (if it's not documented, it didn't happen).
- Communication: Educate patients and families, advocate for needs, and liaise with doctors and therapists.
