Paralegal - WC/PI

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time paralegal, bilingual in Spanish, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury and/or workers' compensation cases and will serve as a critical liaison between our clinic, patients, and legal teams. This ideal candidate will be highly organized with a strong ability to manage multiple cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with patients, attorneys, and providing representatives regarding case status and documentation
• Review and organize medical records, lien documentation, and legal correspondence
• Maintain case management data in our database system.
• Draft and manage lien agreements, treatment status reports, and related legal documents
• Ensure accurate tracking of case progress and follow up on outstanding matters
• Translate and interpret for Spanish-speaking patients as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and legal standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury or workers’ compensation
• Strong understanding of medical and legal terminology
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software
• High attention to detail and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
