Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview:

The Hospice Clinical Director provides overall leadership and direction for hospice clinical services, ensuring high‑quality care and alignment with the organization’s mission and standards. The role collaborates with operational leaders, medical directors, and business development to support clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and service growth. This position requires strong knowledge of hospice regulations, effective communication skills, and the ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides clinical oversight, mentoring, and guidance to interdisciplinary team members

Assists in development and maintenance of clinical policies and procedures that comply with federal and state regulations and CHAP standards.

Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and governance standards

Maintains quality improvement initiatives, monitors performance indicators, and ensures compliance with the performance improvement program.

Facilitates IDT meetings and care conferences

Oversight of referral and admission management

Qualifications:

B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing is required

Minimum of three (3) years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related health programs required.

Two (2) years of hospice experience required with intimate knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

Operations Leadership experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships in the communities served as well as within a company.

Skilled at establishing/maintaining working relationships with key staff, marketing contacts, and clinical staff to ensure thorough understanding of Hospice Care Mission and services.

Experience in analyzing processes, improvement planning, supporting change, and effectively managing priorities.

Ability to function in a fast-paced office environment.
