Disaster Response Attorney

Legal Services of North Florida is hiring a Disaster Response Attorney to provide legal assistance to survivors of Hurricane Michael. Along with client representation, this attorney will organize LSNF’s continued response to the legal needs of low-income and vulnerable individuals affected by Hurricane Michael. Applicants should be a member of The Florida Bar, with preference given to candidates with clinical or legal aid experience. Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a high level of comfort with technology, project management, and systems development. Ability to work independently and in team environments, to analyze complex issues and to obtain results to positively impact the client and community will also be considered. This position is based in our Quincy office.

Entry level salary of $50,000 is negotiable depending on experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits package includes paid holidays, paid vacation (which after two years, increases to five weeks per year), sick leave, and, after sixty days, fully paid health insurance for employee & dependent children, retirement plan, term life, and disability insurance.
