If you enjoy the meaningful connections that come from working in a home care environment, please continue reading! WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care is currently hiring a Full-time Registered Practical Nurse in London, Ontario in our Adult complex care division.
Shifts are Sunday-Saturday 2300-0700.
Note: Must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two dose vaccine series or one dose of a single dose vaccine series); AND have received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the official start date of hire.

As a Registered Practical Nurse with WeeCare, your role is about more than just supporting the medical needs of clients; it is also about providing peace and comfort in their homes. While you are expected to administer medical care according to the client’s care plan, we also expect you to serve as a trustworthy extension of the client’s family.

Duties
- Administer and document medications as prescribed
- Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
- Maintain client's records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards
- Assist the client with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
- Observe and report on changes in client's condition to guardian
- Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
- Demonstrate understanding of client’s needs and maximize abilities
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the client/guardian
- Respond to client/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
- Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including client’s equipment and belongings
- Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting client's safety
- Complete all other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the CNO
- Current BLS certification
- Vulnerable Sector check within the past 6 months
- Professional liability insurance
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

- Sunday to Saturday
- Night shift
- 8 hour shift
