Teller (application must be completed for consideration)
Essential Functions:
The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a function.
● Accurately process deposits, withdrawals and all types of payments.
● Cross sell/cash traveler’s cards, money orders, bonds, or cashier’s checks
● Accounts research on the bank system, place holds on accounts, transfer funds on-line and process miscellaneous items.
● Balance cash drawer daily, accurately and efficiently
● Work night deposit bags each morning
● Work cash items, if applicable
● Issue, redeem and renew Certificates of Deposits, if applicable
● Perform Safe Deposit Attendant duties, as required.
● Understand bank products and respond appropriately to customer inquiries regarding products; refer to CSR as appropriate
● Understand Retail Banking policies and procedures for position and ensure compliance
● Providing superior customer service by exhibiting a friendly and professional demeanor at all times; Answer telephone in a professional manner.
● Accept assignments as required to maintain adequate staffing levels throughout branch system.
● Count cash/change either brought in by customers or Federal Reserve
● Keep proper cash levels in drawers.
● Accept “stop payment” request, “change of address” request
● Prepare money and balance ATM, if applicable
● Assist other tellers in locating cash discrepancies.
● Capable of handling special or unusual customer transactions and answering more difficult customer questions.
● Work at other offices if the need arises and participate in bank functions / activities, some of which may be after normal banking hours
● Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, Teller Training
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Related retail, sales, or cash handling experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS
· Traditional retail office environment
· The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet
· Job cannot be performed from home
· Expected to be on bank premises prior to opening/closing
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distant vision; Continuously typing and looking at a computer screen for a long period of time
· Continuously required to sit, talk or hear
· Frequently required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms
· Occasionally required to lift and/or move object weighting up to 30 pounds
· Rarely required to lift and/or move objects weighting over 30 pounds
