Job Summary:
 
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the operations of the Housekeeping department
is in an efficient manner, providing all guests with quality service and a clean and safe environment
throughout their stay, while effectively managing expenses and maximizing service levels.
 
Qualification Summary:
 
  • Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED certificate is preferred
  • Minimum one year, hotel housekeeping experience required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Physical Requirements:  Long hours sometimes required.
  • Medium work -exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand for long hours at a time.
  • Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by hotel business levels.

  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Must be able to work well in stressful, high pressured situations including the ability to handle guest complaints and disputes and resolve them to satisfactory results.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
