Cross Country Assistant Coach -- High School
Pre-season practices begin in mid-June and run through mid-August. Our official Fall season runs through the first weekend of November.
Responsibilities
• Attend all practices, meets, and team events
• Assist in leading daily practices. This includes running with the athletes – both beginner and high-level varsity – during practice.
• Help implement Head Coach’s training plans and meet strategies, supporting decisions and policies, and a commitment to elevating the team as a whole.
• Model and promote strong teamwork, sportsmanship, and accountability.
Qualifications
• RRCA Distance Running Coach Level I, USATF Level 1, or comparable certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Prior coaching or competitive running experience preferred.
• Must meet all school employment requirements, including background checks, and align with the AACS Statement of Faith.
