Job purpose 

The Lift Operations Ticket Checker's primary duty is to operate the scanner at the lift maze to check tickets.

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Operate ticket scanner to validate tickets and passes of those who are about to load the lift

  • Help Lift Operators/Attendants to maintain the surface of loading area and maze throughout the day

  • Give direction to guests through the maze during busy periods

  • Perform morning pre-operational setup of assigned lift, including snow removal, ramp maintenance, maze setup, etc.

  • Any other tasks assigned

 Qualifications

  • Must be 16+ years old

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Knowledge of all Cooper lift policies for employees and guests

  • Good work ethic, dependability, and excellent customer service & communication skills

  • Professional and positive attitude

 Working conditions 

The Lift Operations Ticket Checker position is based both inside and outside and is exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice).

 Physical requirements 

Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift objects which may be heavy, etc.
