Houseperson/ Housekeeping

When a guest walks into a hotel, the guest is wow’ed by the cleanliness and sparkle of the lobby and other areas of the hotel. A Houseperson is who makes all that happen. The Houseperson is responsible for keeping common areas of the hotel clean, making a guest feel welcome.

Houseperson Responsibilities:

• Clean lobby, public bathrooms, and other common areas of the hotel
• Vacuum hallways and mop floors
• Clean tabletops in lobby and other common areas
• Remove trash from lobby and other common areas
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed

Requirement

• Previous cleaning, janitorial experience preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Regularly moving, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holiday
