The Regional Manager, Southwest is directly responsible for the overall management of the Membership & Regional Development of the geographical area assigned, Southwest region. This position requires experience and skill in sales, marketing and territory management with the objective to engage, retain and acquire Local Lacrosse Organizations (LLO’s) as US Lacrosse members. The regional manager is also responsible for driving US Lacrosse best practices and national standards.
Expected Hours of Work:
US Lacrosse core business hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday - Friday and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday. This position is generally expected to work 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday and regularly requires alternative hours, nights and weekends as related to events and other business needs.
Travel is extensive and necessary to the success of this position. This position will travel primarily in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Louisiana & Mississippi. This position will also be expected to travel to US Lacrosse headquarters, Sparks Maryland for meetings and events several times per year as well as to the national convention in January and regional conferences throughout the year.
Lacrosse experience is not required but is preferred for this position.

Sales and Territory Management
Engage, Retain and Acquire US Lacrosse Member Organizations
(Youth Leagues, LLO’s and Clubs)
o Drive existing youth leagues and community- based organizations to grow their program by providing support through the direct support from USL national (e.g. Try- Lax, Learn to Play, CDP clinics, and other Growth Initiatives)
o Deliver sales and marketing membership presentations to local lacrosse organizations within the region.
o Monitor, Measure and manage the membership database as it pertains to youth league organizations assuring that USL has current contact information and organizational structure.
o Work with Local Lacrosse Organizations to align with US Lacrosse best practices and national standards.
Develop effective, engaging and fiscally responsible Chapters within the geographic region.
o Work closely with chapter leadership to assist them in their role to communicate and celebrate the local lacrosse community
o Manage internal operational procedures to help Chapter leadership develop and execute annual budgets and strategic plans.
o Oversee the annual chapter certification process to maintain good standing with the USL 501c3 designation.
o Facilitate collaboration/communications between Chapter, US Lacrosse National, and Local Lacrosse Organizations.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Education and Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of documented sales and territory management experience and a strong knowledge of Microsoft office is required.
Knowledge of Salesforce ® customer relationship management system would be beneficial but not required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
- Occasionally works in outside weather conditions, including occasional extreme temperatures

- Will experience extended drive times and frequent flying
