Position Purpose
As an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) Supervisor, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional member service through our ITM systems. Your responsibilities encompass providing a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Balances each day’s transactions and cash totals. Answers Member’s questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance activities. Plays an important role in the teamwork of the ITM area and serves members promptly and professionally. This position requires excellent public relations skills as well as an understanding of teller functions. Timeliness, efficiency and accuracy, as well as professionalism, are vital to the successful execution of this position. Serves as lead worker and role model for others, assisting in successful performance of their tasks, training, coaching, assuring smooth flow of daily operations of ITM work area.
Job Functions
Member Financial Transactions:
Process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
Accurately transfer funds between member accounts as directed.
Post transactions to member accounts and maintain precise member records.
Interactive Teller Machines (ITM):
Utilize ITMs to facilitate member transactions.
Greet members and provide routine information about accounts and services.
Direct members to branch staff for specific transactions or services that cannot be completed via the ITM.
Communication and Member Engagement:
Focus on providing clear instructions to ensure ease of use, accuracy, and efficiency for all transactions.
Actively listen to members' questions and concerns, offering informative and courteous responses.
Identify members' financial needs and recommend suitable credit union products and services.
Technology Proficiency:
Stay updated on ITM technology and delivery methods, adapting to changes and advancements.
Troubleshoot basic ITM issues and escalate technical problems as necessary.
Goal Achievement:
Work toward individual performance goals and contribute to reaching established department goals.
Engage in conversations with members to promote Intrepid Credit Union’s products and services when relevant.
Manager Communication:
Keep all staff informed of any issues that may arise with ITM operations while serving members.
Collaborate with branch staff to ensure a seamless member experience.
Assists management with other functions including but not limited to:
Establishment and maintenance of professional standards and procedures for the department.
Providing effective leadership, including assisting in hiring, orientation, coaching, training, performance evaluations, scheduling, and monitoring processes.
Conduct bi-weekly one on one as well as on the spot coaching, utilizing Integrity Coaching skills.
Performance of more advanced procedures such as drawer audits and other internal control items, error resolution, cash orders, equipment repair.
Troubleshooting, assisting with more difficult members, etc.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with credit union personnel and management. Strives to promote an atmosphere within the Credit Union and each functional area.
