Job Summary
This role is a key part of Delphi Rise’s new and innovative In Community SUD Clinic, the first of its kind in the Finger Lakes region. Our team removes traditional barriers by delivering substance use support directly in trusted spaces where people already feel safe and welcome. From shelters to housing programs, we go where people are.
Certified Peer Advocates are the heart of this model. Your lived experience is a powerful tool for hope. You will build trusted relationships in real time, support harm reduction strategies, run or co lead groups, and co-design creative outreach to engage individuals who may not otherwise walk into a clinic. You are a connector, a bridge and a partner in healing.
You will work closely with counselors, medical providers and peer colleagues to introduce people to safer use practices, health screenings, treatment access and recovery supports based on personal goals. You will support people following major transitions, such as hospitalization or incarceration, and help them navigate systems with confidence.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, curious, compassionate and energized by connection. If you believe everyone deserves to feel seen and supported without judgment, and you want to help build a new way of providing care in our community, this role offers the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact.
