Here at The Surf Club Hotel, our Front Desk Agent is often the first person a guest will meet. That being said, the ideal candidate for this position will represent our beautiful property with class and a smile. Other than greeting guests, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for general daily front desk duties that include answering phones, checking e-mail, making reservations, preparing arrivals each day, checking-in and out each guest, answering general questions, giving suggestions for local dining/activities, and general office housekeeping. The agent may also be responsible for opening and/or closing the office each day which includes closing the outside patio and running the nightly audit.

Experience/Skills Preferred:

• Previous hotel front desk experience or customer service equivalent

• Exceptional guest relation and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of Southern Delaware attractions and surrounding area

• Exceptional abilities in Microsoft Office Suite 2016 (Word, Excel, Publisher)

• Previous use and understanding of Resort Data Processing or hospitality software equivalent

• High School Diploma (required)

• Completed or in-process Associates/Bachelors Degree (not required, but preferred)
