About the Role
Join our team at Kokanee Springs Resort as a Golf Course Gardener! You’ll assist in maintaining beautiful gardens and ornamental plants across the golf course, clubhouse, and golf shop areas, ensuring the property looks its best for guests and golfers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain gardens, hanging baskets, planters, trees, and shrubs (planting, fertilizing, irrigation, pruning, mulching).
- Keep walkways clean and safe (weed removal, debris cleanup).
- Assist with other landscaping and golf course maintenance tasks.
- Help maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and staff facilities.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 25 kg).
- Experience in landscaping, gardening, or golf course maintenance is an asset.
- Ability to operate landscape equipment safely.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to start early (as early as 4:30 am) and work weekends.
- Steel-toe boots required; work gloves and rain gear recommended.
