VMware Senior Consultant- Ashburn, VA

E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a VMware Senior Consultant to support a contract in Ashburn, VA.

Job Description:

The VMware senior consultant will assist with the development of the customer's capability to do the following:

• Abstract and pool compute and storage resources

• Automate workload provisioning

• Automatically recover from hardware failures

• Monitor and manage infrastructure performance and capacity

• Provide a self-service portal for IT users

The VMware senior consultant will also provide the following services:

• Design a hyper-converged data center platform

• Deploy a hyper-converged data center platform

• Deploy a cloud automation foundation

• Deploy an operations management foundation

• Enable essential SDDC monitoring

• Leverage an external directory service to manage virtual workloads

The following are the high-level activities included in this project:

• Design - Solution design through a series of workshops and consultation.

• Implement - Deployment and verification of the solution.

• Knowledge Transfer- Knowledge transfer of the design, deployment, and operations procedures.

This project requires the following VMware On Premise, VMware SaaS and third-party products, with vendor-supported versions as agreed to by VMware and Customer at project kickoff, but limited to those that are in general availability (GA) on the date of SOW signing:

• VMware vRealize® Operations Manager™ (Deployed through VMware Cloud Foundation™) 7.5

• VMware vRealize® Automation™ 7.6

• VMware Cloud Foundation™ 3.9

• VMware vRealize® Automation™ (Deployed through VMware Cloud Foundation™) 7.6
