IT Specialist

We are looking for an IT Specialist- to join our Support Centre team!

As an IT Specialist, your responsibilities are to:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1.      Work with IT manager to implement and maintain company network environment and computer system by improving the effectiveness of the database tools and services.

2.      Ensure all the data complies with legal regulations and all the information is protected and backed-up very well.

3.      Build the new database, monitor the existing database performance and data entry procedures are fulfilled for each department and all the stores operation.

4.      Perform analysis, design any new function based on the business changes and the request from other departments, approved by the Vice President.

5.      Ensure the programing, testing and implementation any new function based on the company’s needs.

6.      Monitor regularly and provide secure access to the network for remote users.

7.      Provide users with the appropriate support and advice on all software and high-technology equipment.

8.      Manage emails account and setting for all employees, company’s domain name, DNS and IP address.

9.      Work together with the IT manager to implement company’s software security settings, include: computer user account and security, King Corp Enterprise, Great Plains (Server and Client), Operation News and remote users.

10.  Maintain internal Operation System that include: ordering, distribution, transfer, and claim, sales, data verify system: Drop-Shipment, Sales and Expenses entities.

11.  Maintain internal online system running in a good status: Operation News, Market News, Online forms and policies.

12.  Perform SQL database daily and monthly backup and performance tuning, anti-virus software, deployments, upgrades, trouble shootings

1.      Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing systems regulations; recommending new procedures related to compliance.

2.      Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Team Development:

1.      Initiate the teamwork with other departments to ensure the goals are achieved and the milestones are met on time.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION

1.      University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent

2.      At least 5 years of progressive hands-on experience in maintaining and supporting business applications and data reports in a Microsoft centric environment.

3.      Ability to follow the IT technology, such as AI principles and core concepts, AWS Cloud Services, Windows Analyses Server, SQL Report Service, Data warehouse building tools, network management including switching, routing, firewall, system security, intranet & VPN set up.

4.      At 5 ears of progressive hands-on experience in SSRS, SSIS, C#, .Net, VB, Access, ASP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML Experience in managing servers on windows platform

5.      Strong database knowledge, familiar with SQL 2005/2008/2014/2016/2017/2019/2022, ACCESS 97/2000/2003/2007/2013/2016/2019/2021 and Access for Microsoft 365, mySQL, SSRS 2008 r2 above version, web design and developing, database scripts, SQL jobs, stored procedures etc.

6.      Strong software development skills such as C#, VB, VBA, WQL script, IIS, ASP, PHP, HTML.

7.      Team player and possess outstanding communication and leadership skills.
