POSITION SUMMARY
Purpose
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner plays a key role in supporting leaders and employees across Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) by aligning people strategies with operational priorities while honouring Tahltan culture and values. Guided by the principle “Build Trust, Build Futures,” this role helps balance business imperatives with a people-centered approach grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing, respect for tradition, and contemporary HR practices.
As TNDC continues to grow as a leading Indigenous-owned business operating in the resource-rich Golden Triangle of northwest British Columbia, the HR Business Partner will support the development of a strong, inclusive workforce that creates meaningful opportunities for Tahltan citizens and employees across the organization.
Working closely with leaders, the HR Business Partner will help foster a workplace culture built on trust, respect, and accountability—integrating Western HR practices with Tahltan values to support both organizational success and community prosperity. This is an opportunity to contribute to an organization recognized as an employer of choice, where people are empowered to grow their careers while helping build a sustainable future for the Tahltan Nation and the regions where TNDC operates.
