Maintenance for Cabins

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech to join Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our cabins. The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems as needed. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently. Maintenance Tech do walk throughs on cabins, check for any damages by guests, change HVAC filters & trouble shoot if an issue arises. Maintenance Tech is responsible for cleaning hot tubs (this consist of draining, cleaning, sanitizing, & filling). Keep the grounds around the cabins clean of trash, clean the fire pits & grills. Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Maintenance Techs drive from the office to the cabins. Part time position with potential for full time. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, checking and replacing filters, and inspecting systems for proper operation

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a maintenance tech or in a similar role

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a MUST
