Industrial electrician

Looking for an Industrial Electrician by Airport Area.

Monday - Friday 6AM-2:30PM with flexibility to work OT and weekends.

Weekly Pay with Direct Deposit

Below is the job description:

SUMMARY

Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment.  May also install and maintain electronic controls for various machines.  May also connect wire to circuit breakers, transformers or other components.  Checks circuits for proper connections, ensuring electrical compatibility and safety of components.  Current knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.  Must rely on verbal and written instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.  This position requires someone who is reliable on time and comes to work every day.  Must have own tools—including fluke test meter, drill, wire cutters, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Replaces broken or burned-out lights.
2. Repairs or replaces electrical units, including ballasts, as needed.
3. Installs conduit, pulls, works with minimum voltage 480V 3 Phase.
4. Troubleshoots, rewires, and diagrams motor control boxes.
5. Wires start/stop controls and variable frequency drives.

6.      Provides electrical support to other departments when new electrical equipment is being removed and/or installed to ensure safe application.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1.      High School Diploma

2.      Three to five or more years of relevant, related experience

3.      Previous apprenticeship or formal training as electrician desired.
