A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical operations and regulatory oversight. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role requiring prior experience as an ADON within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
The ADON will partner directly with the Director of Nursing to maintain compliance, oversee nursing staff performance, and support quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support oversight of daily nursing operations within the Skilled Nursing Facility
- Maintain compliance with federal and state long-term care regulations
- Assist with survey preparation and regulatory processes
- Supervise nursing leadership and unit-level staff
- Monitor documentation standards, infection control practices, and quality metrics
- Assist with staffing management and departmental accountability
- Participate in QAPI initiatives and performance improvement efforts
- Collaborate with the DON and Administrator to ensure operational stability
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a Skilled Nursing Facility required
- Strong working knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care compliance
- Demonstrated experience supporting survey readiness and regulatory processes
- Proven ability to manage clinical staff and maintain departmental standards
